Meeting old and new friends is of course a very important part of the Deaf Culture Days! On Friday night, there will be a big gathering at Deaf Night and on Saturday night, a party for teenagers (aged 13-17), banquet for adults and a nightclub (aged 18 and older)
 

DEAF NIGHT

Big social gathering on Friday night!

       

You are welcome to a big and social gathering in the old Christianholm festning fort (built in 1672) after the opening ceremony on Friday night. Many new and old faces will get together and get the opportunity to talk to one another. There will be sales of food and drink.

The extra people will be be tents outside with tables and benches, with the fresh sea breeze coming from the ocean right next to the fort. 

For people who are interested, beautiful pictures from the photo contest and short films from the short film contest can be seen inside the fort.

Price: Free(must have paid participation fee)

PARTY FOR YOUTH

There is going to be a great party for teenagers between the ages of 13-17. Bring friends! Also friends who is not participation of deaf culture days.

After the taco-buffet there will be a disco with a DJ. The party will be on Saturday from 7pm-1am at Hotel Norge.

Price: NOK 250,- (must have paid participation fee)

BANQUET FOR THE ADULTS  

 


Banquet for the Adults
After long days we will dress up on Saturday night and enjoy a three course dinner in the “Festsalen” at Radisson Blu Caledonien Hotel.  There will be some entertainment in between the courses and it is possible to enjoy the beverages from the bar. In other words, a traditional banquet you do not want to miss!

After the banquet, we will move on to the Night club in the hotel where music, dance and social will be for both young and old. We have the whole night club, where we can room up to 500 deaf and sign language users. The popular deaf DJ Troi and DJ inigo are coming all the way from England, and the party will go into the morning horus.

If you want a more quiet place, there is a piano bar at the hotel, or you might decide to just stay in the “festsalen.”

Welcome to the biggest night club for deaf with room for 500 people in three open floors on Saturday night!  There will be both room and opportunity for dancing and talking.

The music and light show will be by the deaf English popular DJ Troi and DJ Inigo.
